SF J105 FLEET 1 - 2002 Season Current Standings
(Discards in Parentheses)
following standings are supplied by Fleet Scorer. If you find
any discrepancy or have any questions about a result or standing, please
contact Fleet Scorer directly or communicate any changes to the
Master. Since the process for calculating standings through the course
of the season is too complex to represent here, we encourage competing skippers
to obtain a copy of the 2002 Season Series Excel spreadsheet prepared by
the Fleet Scorer (requires MS Excel and can be saved to your PC from here).
Championship Scoring Rules
There are a total of 40 races scheduled, plus the two mandatory seminars
which are counted as races. This will be adjusted during the season for
additional races run on any scheduled race day or for races abandoned.
There will be 25% throw outs, rounded up at 0.5. So if there are 42 races
there will be 11 throw outs.
The official results posted by the race committee of each regatta will be
used to score the Season Championship. Any requests for redress must be
handled by the race committee. Any boat not entering a regatta will be
scored as the number of entries plus one. Note that this also applies to
the seminars. Ties will be broken as per RRS Appendix A
